Public Transport discounts

CTPC have negotiated discounted travel for our members on public transport in Colchester. The basic discount rates offered are outlined below, but some employers have subsidised these further to give their employees an even better deal. Other projects

Follow the Fixing the Link walking route to the town centre – look out for the yellow way finding banners and the plaques in the pavement offering interesting historical insights along the route.

Colchester station has extensive cycle parking on both sides of the station.

There are frequent buses into the town centre and towards Colchester Hospital and High Woods/North Colchester business parks. See map in bus information above.

You can add bus travel onto your train season ticket using PlusBus.

Car sharing

If you travel with colleagues to meetings by train, there are also four Loveurcar car share bays on the south side of the station. These are free for up to a maximum of 8 hours as long as you car share to the station and are signed up to the Loveurcar carshare scheme.
